My Approach

My goal is to create a caring therapeutic alliance with you rooted in empathy, mutual trust, and respect. Together, we will create a safe and open environment for courageous and insightful explorations. I offer collaborative, client-centered therapy that supports the development of personal insights and pragmatic coping skills through curiosity, mindfulness, and compassion. My approach is trauma-informed by various clinical perspectives, including psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, systems theory, crisis intervention, and mindful self-compassion, emphasizing tailoring treatment to you and your personal goals. I have experience and passion for working with issues of anxiety, depression, codependence, people pleasing, depression, relationship challenges, intimate partner abuse/domestic violence, stress management, career and life transitions, substance use, and men’s issues.

What To Expect

I will support you in developing a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself and your ability to be present with uncomfortable emotions as the foundation to changing your life in the ways that are important to you. Our work will be infused with curious and compassionate exploration and the development of practical skills so that you can live with more ease, confidence, and authenticity.

More About Me

As a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, the proud son of a single mother, and a first-generation college graduate, my approach is led by seeing the greatness in each person and a commitment to uplifting and empowering individuals and communities. I worked in mental health for over eight years in various settings, engaged in community building and providing direct support, leadership, and training to diverse Service members and clients. I completed my Masters in Social Work at Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me enjoying a nice meal, watching sports, spending time with family, or listening to a podcast or audiobook.

Our rates

Individual Therapy

$175.00

Individual therapy can be an opportunity to address past traumatic experiences or current life challenges to move toward healing and growth. Therapy is individualized to you and your needs. Typically, clients are seen once a week. Once you improve and see results, we adjust the timeframe by decreasing sessions to meet your needs. Weekly therapy sessions provide a safe space to explore and begin to understand how your past and current circumstances affect you today.

Couples Therapy

$250.00

This type of therapy helps spouses/couples determine their issues and work on resolutions. This is helpful when couples are going through a difficult time in their relationship or have a challenging time communicating or connecting.
